		<description>Just reading this now, but think it highlights a lot of important variables for us to be aware of as these children and families come into our classroom, and a part of our communities.  The face of the homeless is changing, and as such so are their needs.  I think it speaks to the fact that as teachers, we must be willing to become involved -- meeting needs when able and networking with others to effect change.</description>

		<description>The article was very interesting. As our economy gets worse, there will be less public assistance and even higher unemployment rates. People need help and they will not be able to get it.</description>
